Study of the work of Odelion Redon has been an inspiration lately. This painting is a continuation in the Keriah Series and is entitled Uncertainty. Finding ourselves currently in a very uncertain place in time with COVID 19 and many other world issues has left so many of us feeling uncertain about the future. I want this painting to cause time to stop even if for a brief moment and give the viewer allowance for some thought about where they are and where they are going.

Amy Elizabeth was born in Glassboro, New Jersey. She moved to North Carolina to attend High Point University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art. With a studio art background, Amy has experience and is trained in all art disciplines, but she enjoys exploring mixed media collage and painting currently. Her work is abstract and expresses deep emotion. The work is intended to cause the viewer to connect to the art in some way. The abstract quality lends a sense of mystery and intrigue. Amy works as an art educator to High School students in an inner city school in the North Carolina public school system. She paints and creates from her home studio and shows her work in local galleries.
