Ukrainian artist based in Bayern, Germany. Member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Nuremberg Middle Franconia (BBK) Nadiya Pankova was born in Donetsk (Ukraine) in 1985. There she got Music and Art education; there Nadiya got her Degree in Architecture and worked as an architect for some years. However, in time, Nadiya has realized that the architecture is actually not her field. In 2014, Nadiya with her family moved to Kiev because of the war beginning in the Donbass region. Since 2017, Nadiya Pankova has been living with her husband and two children in Fürth (Germany)- teaches art the children and adults, works in her studio. In recent years, Nadya has also emerged as a curator and exhibition organizer in Nuremberg and the surrounding region. In 2025, she became a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Nuremberg Middle Franconia (BBK). Artist Statement My work doesn’t take place in the studio alone: I often draw right in the middle of the action – at raves, concerts, and in dancing crowds. This practice of “extreme sketching” allows me to capture energy and movement in real time. I work on canvas, paper, cardboard, fabric – or directly on skin. I’m interested in how individuality expresses itself in people, objects, cities, or fleeting moments. Improvisation is my way of being present. Each piece is an open gesture, where chance and knowledge are equal partners.
