Under my skin_in the raw Painting

This piece is a part of the painting series 'Under my skin' which I have been practicing the subject matter of multicultural and multifaceted identity in woman that I have become more aware of how it has affected myself and other females in their lives. I enjoyed exploring and playing with unidentified yet familiar colours and shapes to represent all the conflicts I create between those different roles I play as a woman to fit in this simple but chaotic world. They are juxtaposed, layered and interwoven to make a balance to fit in such expected or fixed forms.
