ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As in the Colors of the Rhodope, I painted this picture high in the Rhodope Mountains, in Smolyan, a town passing through the beautiful, mystical mountain. The weather then was wet, with a lot of rain, cool, with foggy mornings and mystery, and the art studio was warm and quiet.

I am motivated by the relationship between color and space and the emotional response to the way they intersect and combine.
