Under the moonlight Painting

My name is Nelly Kotova and I have been drawing since childhood. I create colorful oil paintings depicting fantastical subjects and heroes, often drawing inspiration from science fiction and dystopian themes. I use bright and contrasting colors in my oil paintings. Additionally, I create black and white graphic art on paper featuring reconstructed characters and environments. I find inspiration in the works of Henri Rousseau, Paul Gauguin, Inès Longevial, Nicholas Roerich, Marc Chagall, Mikhail Vrubel, and Francisco Goya. Their art motivates me to experiment with unconventional color schemes, explore new themes, and push the boundaries of my own creative expression. My art is an exploration of the unknown and the unseen, taking cues from my favorite science fiction and dystopian literature. Through my paintings, I attempt to capture the essence of a world that exists beyond our current understanding of reality. My art is both imaginative and thought-provoking, transporting the viewer to a place where anything is possible. I approach my art with a fearless sense of experimentation and an unyielding desire to learn and grow as an artist.
