Unexpected Painting

This painting was created during COVID 19. For me, it represents dark thoughts but also hopes of a brighter future. Dark, textured flowing linear areas contrast sharply with the off-white background. This triptych can be hung in many different configurations, each resulting in a unique shape. Since acrylic paint lends itself to creating unusual textures, I had fun playing around with different looks before settling on the one which I used in this painting. The canvas background was designed and created by me. Due to the many hanging possibilities, I also designed a hanging system which makes it easy to change the hanging configuration of the pieces. All hanging material and instructions for various configurations are included. The painting looks stunning on a dark wall and is unique in that the buyer has the option to chose which configuration he would like to see on a wall, or to change to a different configuration to accommodate and different sized wall. Many options and the buyer gets to participate in choosing his favourite look.
