Hey, Maryam here! I'm a Fine Arts student. Also, currently, I'm working in a marketing firm and along with that I do commission work from time to time. I've participated and won many competitions and now working on making my way into the world today through my art. Competitions: - Selected for exhibition at Alhamra’s Young Artists Exhibition. - Star Artist at Picasso at Picasso International Art Contest (Water colors). - Star Artist (Scored 94/100) at Picasso International Art Contest (Mixed medium). - 1st Position in Painting at EME Venture Art Contest (Lahore Grammar School). - 1st Position in Replica at Artography Art Contest (Lahore Grammar School, Jt). - 2nd Position in Replica (Interschool Art Event) at Lahore Grammar School. - 2nd Position in 3-D Art Sculpting at Art and Performing Art Fest (Aitchison College, Lahore). - 2nd Position in 3-D Art at WWF Nature Carnival. - 1st Position in Photography Competition (Lahore Grammar School EME). - 3rd Position in 3-D Art Sculpting at Art and Performing Art Fest (Aitchison College). Artist statement: A wise man once said, "No man can enter the same river twice". I believe that everything exists in an always shifting transformative state. Nothing is absolute and we change every second. This change or transition is constant in everyone and that's what I try to capture in my work. The process of change inspires me and pushes me to work in diverse mediums. I think of my art as an unfinished puzzle which is only completed when it is seen. What you see, is what it is. You see it as you are in that moment. And when you look again, it'll be different as you will be too. I just hope you look.
