ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Free flowing broad and other brush strokes. Like music, visual and other forms of art are universal. This abstract piece seems to capture an alien-female form in green at the bottom of the painting. Perhaps she is monitoring the universe. This is an original piece in which I allow myself to flow in a minimalism style. It is painted using acrylic paints. It is wired and ready to hang. It is both signed on the front side of the painting and on the backside. The 1.5 inch sides are painted black. It is varnished with gloss varnish to finish. It can be hung with or without a frame. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts, and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
