My goal is to share art that is a daily reminder of simple beauty that can still be found in this often hectic world. I love working in acrylic mixed media and my collections range from a bit whimsical figurative to non-objective abstracts. Art has been a part of my life since childhood so I am happy to say my paintings have won numerous awards and have been collected across the U.S. and Internationally now in six countries. My process starts with many layers of color, texture, and gestural lines to build depth, creating abstract backgrounds and compositions. My will often feature simple recognizable objects from nature to evoke comfortable and soothing emotions for the viewer.
