ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Loving pink on this natural/warm grey-ish paper. This paper asorbs color so it feels almost native to the paper. It feels warm and natural. Playing on a theme of circular moving shapes that have been screenprinted and then inked/washed over, with multiple layers of small topographic dots juxtaposed against the stark and graphic navy blue dots that spill down the paper. This painting feels quite painterly with variations in the dots/paint across. This is primarily a navy blue, not black. The navy is dark but has a bit more life than true black.
