ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting depicts my ongoing interest into time, movement and life. Where we've been, where we are, where we're going and through the dialogue between the painting and the person, who we are. The drips represent organic time while the illustrative line running along side represent ordered time. The connecting line that underscores the brush stroke depicts movement. The longer illustrative lines create a barrier between the foreground and background. A cage or fence.
