This painting represents an attempt of reconciliation of two at first irreconcilable and opposing determinants. The philosophy of the East is not necessarily in coalition with epicurean, Dionysian concept of life of the Mediterranean man. These two polarities can be interpreted as multilayeredness that ultimately connect in a personal life philosophy in which diversities do not exclude each other but rather coexist.
