TIME IS NOT A LINEAR THING Large-format pictures help reduce the intimacy of photos that are a template for pictures. What used to be in the small format of photography, accessible to everyday viewing and browsing through photo albums, diaries and collected memories, becomes monumental, chilled, devoid of personal and intimate. In this way, I relive the photographed event where I am the object, atmosphere and plot of photography. When taking the photo itself, the photo is a template that I later intuitively resolve. Each picture bears its own problems. At the very beginning, the selection of photographs was such that as a small child I occupy the central part of the composition. Later the space itself evolved, so many times it happened that I excluded some elements from the image itself. Space is then as important as portrait. As space became more and more complex, there was a need for time overlaps.

Una Knezevic (1990) has earned a Bachelor's degree and Master degree at Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. She is a winner of the " Ljubica Cuca Sokic " price for small painting. She is curently on phd studies at the same faculty. Una so far has participated in exhibition in Gallery of Culture center Ribnica, Serbia. She exhibited in group shows at Gallery DGKS at Biennial of drawing, Belgrade, Serbia, Gallery U10, Belgrade, Serbia and many others. Lives and works in Belgrade. My main occupation is experimenting. I like to familiarize object that I am exploring in the most natural way, and after that to play with elements, explore and decompose.
