Original acrylic and ink painting ‘V&A Waterfront, Cape Town’. I painted this composition after returning from a big family trip South Africa, and what a privilege it was to experience even a little bit of this country. The landscape was incredible, with the waterfront and the cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain inspiring this composition. Such a shame we didn’t have opportunity to venture much further than Cape Town and the Winelands. Created on specialist acrylic paper, this 39 x 29cm paint and ink study is presented in a slim black 60 x 50cm aluminium frame and a generous white mount to show off its depth of colour. My paintings are packed in a strong telescopic box made for framed artworks. It's protected inside with tissue paper, eco bubble wrap and void filling brown paper.
