This work is about leaving behind a corrupt environment and choosing to strike out into the unknown. The Hebrew text are the words young Rebecca said in the Bible when given a choice of remaining with her family or traveling to meet Isaac in the Promised Land: "She said I will go" (V'Tomer Elech). Apologies - the colour is less bright than shown in main image. More true in the detailed images as the professional image wasn't corrected properly unfortunately.

Born in London in 1960, I came to Israel first 1979, moved to Northern California in 1986, returning to Israel in 2008. In my mid twenties I stopped painting and focused mainly on raising my children and on writing, only returning to art in 2006. . Amongst the things I never learned - was how not to feel silly writing about myself in the third person -
