Verbena Painting

Liliana Saurré is an emerging painter and scholar of spiritual matters reflected in her pictorial work and artistic passion. Her work combines elements of modern art and pop. Born in Lima, Peru in 1960. Liliana always showed interest in art, painting and drawing. After writing about spiritual matters she has begun complementing her work in a new aesthetic presentation. Liliana's collection, "Simplicity" is made up of pictures full of vitality, with the inevitable protagonist in all, vibrant floral motifs, that are present in all the samples. Experimenting with bright and warm colors like red, orange, green and others , that flood each creation with color . My works are made in acrylic on canvas. While my proposal spotlights color, simple and clean lines complement my approach, hence the name of the collection, "Simplicity". My intention is to bring color and harmony to every corner. Guided by the belief that our surroundings have a direct effect on our emotions and that art can inspire us, that it can transform any negative energy or emotion into something positive leading us into harmony with the universe. In the creation process, each scene is intended to articulate a particular symbolism, that has nothing to do with religious matters, and that does not escape the eye of the connoisseur. Canvas art also can express a huge range of emotions, poetic conception of things, as the author feels them; having a divine innate talent to convey what springs from her heart, travels down her arm, and reaches her hand communicating to the brush a feeling, an original, unique idea, expressed in the fabric. "Simplicity" combines elements of modern and pop art, highlighting its uniqueness and expressiveness; inviting the viewer to reflect on the simplicity of the argument.
