Varanasi is a one of the oldest cities. It is famous for the temples situated on the river bank of Ganga called Ghat in Hindi. Thousands of pilgrims and tourists visit these Ghat's every day to seek salivation. The people on the Ghat have very energetic approach. There energies forces all combine create an vibrant arura. In this art work I have captured the aura of these Ghats. One can feel their presence on the Varanasi Ghat without actually going there. They can feel the energy and vibes of the Ghat through this painting. Acrylic colors are used to create this art work on Canvas.

Abhishek Pandey is a sculptor based in Pune, Maharashtra, with roots in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Banaras Hindu University. Abhishek's artistic journey is characterized by a blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary exploration, reflecting his deep reverence for cultural heritage and innovative vision. He has honed his skills through diverse experiences, including a two-year apprenticeship with renowned artist Prabhakar Pachpute, where he gained invaluable insights and techniques that continue to inform his practice. In addition to his artistic mentorship, Abhishek benefits from a long-term mentorship with curator Lina Vincent. Under her guidance, he has streamlined his working process, enhancing his ability to conceptualize and execute projects with precision and depth. Abhishek is also an active participant in the artistic community, regularly conducting workshops on clay sculpting with various organizations. His commitment to sharing his knowledge and skills extends to his own studio space, where he facilitates artist gatherings, talks, and exhibitions. These activities serve as platforms for creative exchange and collaboration, enriching both his practice and the wider artistic community. With a portfolio spanning exhibitions, residencies, workshops, and mentorships, Abhishek is poised to make significant contributions to the contemporary art landscape. His work is driven by a deep-seated curiosity, a passion for experimentation, and a commitment to exploring the intersection of tradition and innovation in sculptural practice.
