About The Artwork

The colors vibrate between them, brushes, hands, tools reinvented, potatoes, everything is useful to the creation, playing with colors takes its place. Imprints, marks, engravings of images are invited. Always, this search for balance. The painting is constructed in successive layers of colors and materials, like the chapters of a novel. Another chapter, a portrait invites itself, takes place. My paintings are "dream portraits", snapshots of emotions where the human takes its place through themes such as sweetness, memory, movement of life.

Born in 1979 in Chambray-Lès-Tours, lives and works In Nantes, France. After training in visual communication, I became a freelance illustrator in Nantes, working on acrylic paint and its games of materials. Then a training as an art therapist radically changes my artistic approach to transform my inner energies into visible forms. In a meditative moment, I release on the canvas an interior universe to the rhythm of a music. Something spontaneous and savage comes first, to accommodate as and when energy oscillates between har- monies and duality.
