W.T.C. RaiUfo 2008 Painting

The Raiufo W.T.C 2009 work is an oil on canvas and depicts the twin towers of New York at the moment of impact or explosion. It deals with the issue of international terrorism used as a deterrent to push the population to give up their personal freedoms in exchange for the security that the ruling classes should ensure. From the destruction of the old world order, centered on bipolarism and the Cold War, greater tranquility and serenity should have resulted which would have led the population to choose freely and democratically. This fact would not have been widely shared by the lobbies that manage power, so here comes September 11th, as a prelude to great future events.
