ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work is inspired by Goethe's Poem with the line "Do you know the land where the lemon trees bloom?", evoking a warm landscape. This is a fictional place, from my mind, modeled in my own technique using many media. I hope the viewer is drawn in, warmed and spends time observing my marks, loose and energetic. It is framed in a Gunmetal Grey float frame.
