Loosely based on the Seven Deadly this series of works illustrate, allude to, or otherwise reference bad behavior. Sometimes referred to as the seven mortal or cardinal sins, the commonly recognized list of seven includes envy, gluttony, greed, lust, pride, sloth, and wrath. By addressing current events, and through the invention of a personal narrative, this body of work presents an occasionally humorous take on sin.

Born 1967, California. Currently teaching at several universities. I enjoy lecturing and traveling. Since 2001 I have developed works based on various themes, such as the mortal sins, cautionary tales, a boxing as a metaphor for the creative process. I have worked in a variety of media, from watercolor and acrylic paint, to oil painting, encaustic (wax and pigment) and drawing with China markers (wax crayons).
