ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I wanted to work on a similar set of paintings like the "Commodities" series but on a smaller scale. So I introduce "Stocks." These pieces are about a particular stock on a particular day. I chose a particular stock based on current events or simply because of the colors used in their corporate logo. Sometimes in trading, people might think to remove the emotions out of the trades, but I believe their is a very human component to it and that you can’t separate the two.
