Born in China in 1976, I started Chinese ink painting when I was eight years old. I first learned how to paint trumpet creepers from my Chinese painting teacher, Mr. Tan. After that, I went to Scotland to study contemporary art. In the field of art, this has exposed me to a wider world. My obsession with materials and constant exploration of techniques makes me enjoy it. I love nature and plants. They always bring me inspiration. I hope my works can bring a little warmth and comfort to other people's hearts. I think this will also be a main direction of my creation...
