Waves I, Ivory Painting

Husband and wife duo, Michael and Victoria Holly of The Holly Collective, collaborate on beautifully textured artworks that embody simplicity as the ultimate sophistication. The Holly Collective paintings are handcrafted from a gesso-plaster blend, with thoughtful attention to color, texture, and sheen, and finished with elegant metal framing. Each painting is unique and handmade in their Los Angeles studio. The Collective is the creative extension of Victoria’s comprehensive fine art background and her well-established interior design firm, Victoria Holly Interiors. Victoria fell in love with the flexibility of plaster as a medium, and applied her talent for curating colors and tones, to create stunning, large-scale artworks. Michael brings an unconventional approach by exploring unpredictable forms and shapes, contrasted with different sheen levels. Michael and Victoria’s pieces lend a refined elegance to interior spaces, while adding unexpected depth and dimension. Both Victoria and Michael create their own collections, in their own unique styles, as well as develop pieces together. They reside in sunny Los Angeles with their dog, Brentley.
