This painting, made by palette knife and oil colours, should suggest the forces of nature itself and all its beauty. Here I was inspired by the ocean, when the waves break on the shore. With the expressive lines and the vibrant colours, I want to catch the viewers’ attention and provoke reaction. I like to bring people to have a second look at my work so they can go on a journey which allows an insight to my inspiration.

Sabine Kay is an abstract artist, born 1964 in Hamburg, Germany, and now living in Luxembourg. She has always had a passion for art, but rediscovered this only some years ago. And now, with the kids getting older, she is moving into a new phase of her life: an art-life. In the beginning she worked realistic, but over the years she learned that in abstract art she could better express herself. While painting she is building the oil colours layer upon layer with a colour palette ranging from soft and serene to vibrant and invigorating. Her inspiration comes from nature itself or photographs. Painting means to her to create something by herself that reflects her impression of nature and its many and always changing Colours. With her paintings she wants to reach the hearts of the spectators. With her paintings she is on GalleryM&Art agents
