This black and white waves triptych and was inspired by 18th and 19th century Japanese wood engravings. The very famous wave of Hokusai where he depicted a wave in a very beautiful manner and I would like to create something similar in my own vision. This painting will look absolutely stunning in a minimalistic or contemporary setting and is a perfect decorative element for someone who loves the power of the natural world. This triptych was finished in the month of May 2020 and was done in acrylic paints which I prepare from mineral pigments in the studio. I personally stretched and and primed the 100% cotton canvas with Bologna gesso and tempera. This painting will be rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube via international courier from Italy. Please contact me with your questions, thank you.

I am driven by classical art and I would love to follow in the footsteps of the beloved artists from the past like Veronese, Da Vinci, Andrea del Sarto. I like the idea of art which is based on canons of ideal forms or divine ideal proportions. I particularly like these forms of art such as David and Ingre. Saatchi is a wonderful opportunity to reach international audiences.
