Showed at the The Other Art Fair

This is a special monochrome painting - inspired by my recent sailing trips to the Baltic Sea. Watercolors on a museum quality acid free clay on wood panel. This means that the painting can be framed without glass just like a normal canvas painting. It comes with the suggested slim white frame ready to hang, but of course you can have it unframed and choose your own at your local framers, just let me know. ATTENTION: Please be aware that the photos show the frame not professionally fixed yet (as it will be fixed when sold), so the distances between painting and frame will be fitted rightly then. 30x30 cm, watercolor, little gouache on aquaboard, UV protection varnish, ready to hang, framed with slim white floating frame. Signed on the front and back and Certificate of Authenticity. Some scratches and traces on the paintings are part of my special painting process and belong to the painting. Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
