About The Artwork

Special for my friends. Objects and people in a weightless environment do not experience the regular forces of gravity. They float effortlessly through the air, their bodies relaxed and poised as they navigate the weightless void. So traditional walking approach would not simply work. Like it would not work for our feelings. One way to move around in a "weightless environment" is through love. This is known as the "floating of love" or "swimming" through the feeling. To change the direction, one should grab the beloved’s arm or look into the lovely eyes and use it to slow or change their momentum.

I was born in 1993 in a small village in a multicultural family with roots from Ukraine, Estonia and Russia. My early life was shaped by my grandmothers' care as my parents lived and worked far away from our hometown. My grandmothers' fairy tales filled my childhood with magic and wonder, teaching me to appreciate the beauty in everyday life and enjoy the present moment. These stories weren't just for fun, they were full of life lessons. In 2001, I joined the Art School of Secondary Education, and after eight years, I graduated with honours. Yet, my curiosity about the world didn't stop there — I went on to study biology in university in 2011. I had always been fascinated by the diversity of life on Earth and the intricate workings of living organisms, and I saw studying biology as an opportunity to delve deeper into these topics. Even with a science career, art remained a huge part of who I am. In 2019, I experienced a life-changing event that opened up new horizons for me. Moving to Denmark sparked a wave of inspiration. I dove deep into art and explored my family history, linking it to the wider world's story. This journey ignited my interest in philosophy and psychology. By 2022, I had decided to leave my scientific career behind to become a full-time artist and pursue my dreams.
