A message about this painting: If you've read the description for some of my other paintings this size then you'll know I love to roll my eyes at office speak-isms. They're the most passive aggressive way of talking like an absolute PC worker while still unleashing your inner rage (in your mind of course). "Well That Escalated Quickly" is like saying well that is completely out of control (feel free to insert any or all relevant expletives as you see fit). Naming a painting is a lost art and a completely underutilized way to tell a story. Like WTF does 'untitled #2' say to you as a buyer other than I'm a lazy ass artist and the only ounce of creativity I have in my body is to fling paint around in this one way that I think its god's gift but have no idea about anything else in life. My titles will either nurture you or make you roll your eyes. Either way...you'll remember. XO, Laura

As an artist, I explore the concept of energy and attraction. The use of turquoise, a color that symbolizes balance, reflects my connection to the universe as a Pisces. My work is an expression of my energy signature and serves as a method of connection to the world around me. The movement and fluidity in my paintings represent the pull and attraction of energy, inviting the viewer to engage with the colors and movement on a more intimate level. I create art to feel like I'm a child laying in the grass of my parents front yard and staring at the clouds to see what shape they shift into. I create to connect with you and have you tell me what you see in the clouds.
