Beautiful colours of blue, green, turquoise and aqua represent the ocean which contrasts beautifully against the white of the crashing waves. This artwork is created using a combination of textured paste, beach sand from WHALE BEACH in Sydney, acrylic paint and resin. The resin high gloss finish of the artwork highlights the beautiful texture of the artwork as well as protecting the piece from any future damage . The piece is very textured with 3d feel White edges. Made on a quality wood panel which is ready to hang. Eva Johnova is a Slovakian born abstract artist residing in Sydney. Eva has always had an artistic side which she initially expressed through her work as a make-up artist in Europe. Since living in Australia she has branched out into the world of contemporary abstract art and design. Nature is Eva’s greatest inspiration – especially the rich colours and textures from her childhood in Slovakia and the various beaches around Australia. Her earliest pieces involved working with found objects such as old furniture, books, newspapers to create environmentally sensitive works of art. She then took inspiration from the ethereal beauty of feathers. She has been using the natural material and also delicate hand crafted paper feathers, during her latest design phase. Inspired by the many beaches around Australia Eva has been inspired to create resin artworks that mimic the beautiful waves crashing on the sandy beaches.
