About The Artwork

I found this old battered photo in a small whaling museum on Flores Island, Azores and I loved the way the colors and details faded out, leaving a silhouetted boat and crew. Very limited color palette in ochers and blues. One can sense the power of the ocean and the effort of the crew to keep the small skiff afloat. Painted with best quality acrylics and protected by 3 layers of anti UV gloss varnish. Pure linen canvas, finished sides and stainless steel wire. ready to hang.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Artist, free-lance graphic designer and photographer. I went back to (almost) full-time painting in 2017. I don't feel connected to the advertising world and computer generated visuals anymore. I wish to produce genuine art and tell stories with my paintings. After breaking a leg last year, I had to stay in bed and picked up water color. Artists like Edward Hopper, Joaquin Sorolla and Egon Schiele inspire me greatly. My favourite subjects are people, views with water (sea, river, lake, boats) and fly fishing.
