"When You Get to Three...Let It Go...Let It Be" is a mixed media painting on a professional wood cradled panel. The mediums are watercolor, acrylic, pencil, paper and oil pastel. My process involves underpainting, layered with rice paper, and more layers of watercolor and acrylic. There are touches of pencil and oil pastel throughout. There is a small section of the original wood intentionally left showing through. Signed on the front and also signed and titled on the back. Painting is 36" X 36" with 2 1/2" sides. The sides have been painted a light french gray.

Wyanne Thompson is a painter whose work reflects both her creativity and her remarkable personal journey. A BFA graduate of Wesleyan College, she has been a full-time artist for over 30 years, creating colorful, bold pieces that inspire and uplift. In late 2013, Wyanne (pronounced Y-Ann) was diagnosed with Stage IV head and neck cancer, undergoing surgery to remove her tongue and numerous lymph nodes. Despite the challenges, she relearned to speak and has been cancer-free for 10 years. Her survival journey transformed her art. Painting became her way of communicating and healing, capturing magic through color and energy.
