About The Artwork
Inspired by figures in the landscape and how the figures become part of the landscape. I was also in the early stages of motherhood and thinking about mother and child and the bond between the two. The name of the painting is based on a poem by an unknown poet which I found very moving. One of my main interests is the idea that everything in life is connected and so there are personal fragments under the paint.
