She Knows Painting

I’m an oil and acrylic painter with a background in graphic design, a foundation that has quietly shaped the way I approach visual storytelling. My love for painting grew alongside my love for travel—living in Mexico, the UK, Spain, and the USA has given me a range of perspectives that naturally find their way into my work. My process varies from intuitive to carefully considered. Some pieces unfold spontaneously, while others take time and structure. I work across a range of styles, from realism to abstraction, often using layered colors, lines, polygons, and textures to build each composition with care and intention. Art critic Eleftheria Vonaparti once described my work as “a harmonious interplay of light and shadow, where vivid colors and polygonal shapes come together to create dynamic compositions.” I see it as a way to express what words often can’t—emotions, thoughts, and stories that ask to be felt rather than explained. At its heart, painting is a quiet form of connection for me. I hope each piece invites viewers to slow down, look a little closer, and maybe see something familiar in a new way.
