ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is an original acrylic, pencil, graphite and collage on paper. Layers of collage and paint have been applied with scrapers to create the effects and glowing nature of the overall work. My work is inspired by cells, abstract atmospheric light, and landscape. Using repetitive imagery such as cell structures, I create a microbiome within each piece, bringing attention to ideas of both microcosmic and macrocosmic elements.
