"White and Blue Canoe," a pivotal creation within Alexander Levich's "The Seasons" series, encapsulates the tranquil essence of a summer's day on a peaceful lake. The large canvas is a confluence of art and nature, where a singular canoe reflects upon the still waters, surrounded by a verdant landscape. Levich's artistry is evident in the intricate play of light and shadow, inviting viewers to a quiet reflection on the passage of time and the beauty of simple moments. The scene, devoid of the material world's chaos, resonates with Levich's philosophy that art is a key to unlocking the inner self. This artwork stands as a celebration of the non-material, an exploration of the quiet joy and harmony that summer brings.

What is the most important thing in life? It's not the external surroundings but our inner world. Painting serves as the key that unlocks this realm. By following this path, one learns not just to look, but to truly SEE. Through my art, I delve into profound content. Painting becomes a medium of communication, a canvas for thoughts. The questions are always deeper than the answers, and the answers are discoveries we make within ourselves. My paintings serve as guides, leading you along the pathways of your own thoughts. I aim to offer you the joy of connecting with your inner world, the luxury of harmony and solitude in communication with yourself. I was born in 1963 in Kyiv, Ukraine, and in 1987, I graduated from the painting faculty of the Kyiv Art Academy, under the guidance of Professor A.M. Lopukhov. Since 1990, I have been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. As a professional artist with over 30 years of experience, my artistic journey can be divided into two main periods. The first period, which spanned over 20 years after my graduation, can be described as "Metarealism." The second period, which I refer to as my "return to realism," began around 2010, you may explore my artworks from both periods showcased here. If you would like to delve deeper into my portfolio, view additional paintings beyond those displayed on this website, or if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me directly via email at . You are also warmly welcome to visit my studio in Kyiv. Thank you sincerely for your interest.
