Sebastian Roese combines abstract painting with urban art and graphic design. He uses the term transformation, which describes the development process during its creative phases and the alienation of any templates. His works are characterized by supernaturalism. Inspired by statements by Paul Klee, he does not want to portray the visible, but rather visualize the supernatural world he feels through his soul. He describes the expressionist character of his work with the word combination abstract graffiti. The word graffiti refers to the roots of his work. Starting as a graffiti sprayer, since the early 2000s he has created wall designs and canvas works with spray paint for various companies, institutions and private persons. Since 2017, his style emancipated by acrylic painting increasingly from its origins. The process of change is a reflection of his personality. Away from the naive, visually oriented self-expression of style writing to content-driven painting. Sebastian is a trained graphic designer and has a degree in business administration. As a graphic designer he has worked for various companies. He leads workshops and has realized various art projects. His works have been shown in various exhibitions and publications.
