Wildflower V Painting

This original piece was created by me in my home studio in Ontario, Canada. This painting is medium sized (30x40) and is finished with a high gloss varnish and painted sides (light blue) with artist signature in the lower right corner of the front. It has many layers to bring depth to the viewer. My painting style uses many types of applicators including brush, sponge, hands and knife. Painting has always been my creative outlet to let my mind be free and to enter a deep meditative state. Most paintings I begin leading with my heart and without a clear path, they take the form they were always meant to take as the process unfolds. I love abstract paintings because the traditional rules of colours and lines do not apply and it is a way for both painter and viewer to exhale and let go. My paintings are delivered “ready to hang” and are protected for the shipping process.
