ABOUT THE ARTWORK
For me going to Norway is equal to hunting for the wonderful northern light and barren wild landscapes. The painting was triggered by a wonderful evening sky over a rough Norwegian high plateau that I was fortunate to experience. Materials used: Watercolours (Artist Quality) on Hahnemühle mould-made Ingres paper, 100 g/m² Format of the paper about 48,5 cm x 64 cm Format of the painting 40 x 60 cm (it is actually about 1-2 mm larger on each side so that it can be conveniently mounted behind a passepartout with a 40 x 60 cm window).
