A small painting that was inspired by a big incident.
First day at sea with my family. We've all been looking forward to this trip.
As soon as we got to the beach and saw the sea, I ran into the water. As usual, I swam far, being sure that I can swim well and quickly reach the shore when I wish.
It wasn't like that. It turns out at this time in the Andaman Sea raged waves of terrible force.
When I realized it, I was drawning to the bottom, and my strength was running out.
Then, still fully confident that everything was fine, I dived, rowing my hands with all my might. But every time when I glanced at the shore I was understanding that it was inexorably pulling away.
With the last bit of strength I wave my arms. I see lifeguards running with surfer boards.
Darkness. Coast. Darkness. Sky. Darkness. Hands pull me up.
I'm trying to climb onto the board. Turns us over. Again. Happened!
Now I'm not under the wave, but on it. It was the toughest roller coaster in the world!
In short, I spent the rest of vacation in pool.

Hey! I am a self-taught Russian artist from Siberia. From the earliest childhood I knew that the visual arts is my true vocation. I painted everywhere and with anything: on the floor, on the walls, at home or any place, in kindergarten and at school. Of course, I got scolded for it. The first time I took oil in my hands at the age of 7 and they never let me go anymore. However, my path to art was thorny and difficult. Due to disagreements with my family, I could not choose a university that would suit my taste. I am currently studying to be a Spanish and English translator. It helps to better understand the scale of the world, to communicate with people, I just adore it. But still, I know that my true vocation is to paint pictures and create my own author's, individual, unique works. My concept is full revelation, complete fearlessness in order to show my inner experiences without any barriers. As Kazimir Malevich said, “the most important elements in painterly creation are color and texture: these are the essence of painting, but this essence has always been annihilated by the subject. The intuitive form should emerge from nothing. In the same way that Reason, which creates things for everyday life, takes them from nothing and perfects them.”
