About The Artwork
The original artist Is Thakur Singh whose work is displayed at the museum in Aundh, a place in Satara ,Maharashtra, India. I was so smitten by this painting that I have painted this work long back in 1996. It was my first attempt in oils and I am very satisfied with the result. The name OLETI suggests a wet woman after her bath. I have tried to copy the details and painted it quite the same as is in the original. The wet cloth clung to her figure inspired me to paint this piece.
