I was born in Donetsk, the Ukraine. At the age of 15 I entered the Art college of Donetsk which I attended for four years and obtained an honours diploma. From 1971 till 1976 I studied at the Department of Drawing in the High Art Institute (former Stroganovsky) in Moscow. My main teachers were great masters of all times and peoples. After my graduating from the Institute I had a lot of experiments with form, colour and space in painting and drawing. I have begun my participating in exhibitions since 1976. Since 1986 I have been a member of the Artists' Union of the USSR. The quest for new potentialities of drawing, colour, for expressiveness of forms has always been important for me. In 1979 my son Nikita was born. He showed remarkable abilities for drawing. So I have taught him Art since 1986. And already in 1990, at the age of ten, he first took a part in the serious youth exhibition in Moscow. Knikta (that's my son's creative pseudonym - ) graduated from the Academy of Arts in Munich and now he is a participant of numerous exhibitions in Russia, Europe and America. My works, paintings and drawings, are kept in different museums and collections such as the Russian Ministry of Culture, the concern of DaewElectronics, "The Decorative Art" magazine, Prodmarketbank, Prodradtechbank, in private collections of Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, France, Greece, Spain, England, Canada, South Korea and USA.
