ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Wonder Woman at the Disco" was painted specifically for"Freak Out" a "Disco Is Not Dead" show at Zhou B Art Center in Chicago in 2016. I chose, as is my way, a strong Feminist Symbol, --though clearly a mixed one, to show what was going on in my head in 1975. It's now part of my "Strong Women Are More Fun" series.
