Expressive, concise and bright. This is how the artwork "Working Life" shines in its blue and reddish orange. This mosaic-like interior architecture of many fragments comes together to form a room with an abundance of objects in terms of content. On the far left, the viewer catches sight of a cat at the window. Right next to it sits a figure with headphones on a laptop. The table is besieged with books and notes. Our present and future working life? This is followed in the centre of the artwork by a cupboard with a hodgepodge of books and documents. And a scratching post by the door on the left is not missing. The floor is paved with an ornamental carpet. In this diversity of a single private room, our new working life often extends. This is also the case for visual artists. For besides all the work in the studio, there is and remains the organisational work at the desk of an everyday room. The artwork can be framed additionally with a white shadow gap frame.

Veronika Spleiss (born 1993) is a painter of hidden object canvases with their own philosophical stories. "The viewer seems to get lost in the overabundance of details in her paintings, which are located somewhere between comic and Kandinsky", as Jürgen Moises of the Süddeutsche Zeitung writes. The artist often uses abstract and geometric forms. Her painting palette resembles a rush of colour tones full of expressiveness, which in turn seem reduced within a work of art. With the colour and form described, her artworks show a confusion that makes us aware of the tension and diversity of life between order and chaos. Philosophically, the painter tries to take a look at all perspectives of everyday life. Veronika Spleiss is represented by renowned art galleries such as Galerie Klose, Grüne Zitadelle, singulart, and justBEE. Her "Wimmelbilder" can be found in private collections all over the world: in Japan, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and the USA.
