ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Singulart gallery sent out a call for proposals to all artists with the theme LEAPS OF JOY. There were more serious topics in my life at the moment, but I wanted to get involved in the LEAPS OF JOY and created this work. I worked underground with collage techniques and above with painting. I used almost exclusively warm colors such as orange, yellow, turquoise, red and a light green. The two joyful jumping figures are framed by a lively ornamental abundance. My inspiration when creating it was a big yes - a yes to liveliness, to joy and to emotional feeling, which can powerfully include all situations in life! This is the message that this work aims to convey. The picture is also signed on the back and has eyelets for hanging, which are professionally sunk into the stretcher frame.
