I had to go no further than my front yard for inspiration and subject of this plein air painting. Parked under a Japanese maple tree, the clippings from the day before were wilting and hanging over the edge. The contrasting green wheel barrel and red leaf of the maple tree, shadow patterns drew me into this scene. Unframed.
