My work is an exploration of painting. Focusing on the representation and alterity . For many years the main concept was camouflage which cant concieve it without topics as mimetism, alterity, representation, see and being seen. Now im working with the idea of reflection. Reflection of being the viewer in a painting, reflection of light and color, reflex being the other before the I.

After 20 years of exploration, my work has become a dialogue between painting and textiles. I look for the limits of the pictorial ensemble, and then cross borders where installation, nature and textile art converge within the pictorial work. For me, painting is the channel to connect with the other; it’s a language that leaves its mark and reverberates as an echo of multiple pictorial identities: painting is mimesis and, at the same time, it’s a simulation of an exposed alterity, of the "self" being "other".
