This painting is my reflection on human generosity, and it celebrates those rare persons who give with an open hand and an open heart, even if it means a sacrifice to their own comfort. It began as a watercolor on paper, which was then mounted to a solid birch wood panel. Then the painting was finished in oil and cold wax. The reverse side of the panel has been routed with a "keyhole" for ease of hanging. This painting has been sealed with a satin varnish for protection.
