Zen Oasis Painting

I was inspired by my garden in this piece. Drawing from the natural tranquility that I derive from the textures and temperatures, I felt like I wanted to transfer that same feeling of calmness and Zen. Zen gardens are famous for their flowing designs that seem to have no beginning and no end. This Zen Oasis kept that in mind with calming music playing in the background of my studio, I put deep intention of calmness and serenity into my practice. With beautiful peaks and valleys highlighting the imperfections up close, this painting is a reminder of the big picture. Variation is the key to a beautiful life. Direct overhead lighting is the key to a prounounced visualization of this.
