My name is Alla Landenband. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I was born in Tashkent Uzbekistan, where I grew up. Since childhood, I showed the ability to draw, occasionally engaged in painting. In 1990, I moved to Israel with my family. I worked for many years as an operating room nurse in a hospital. Then I decided to dramatically change my life and take up painting.. I started with watercolor and pencils but felt rapidly that oil painting would match my way of being. I took a lot of lessons from local artists and international art school online. I rapidly found the pleasure of unlimited creative power. I paint oil paintings on canvas with brushes and with a palette knife. I likes to play with colors, create reliefs, textures…. Most of all I like to create the effect of nature. My works are presented in an art gallery in Israel. I also present my works at exhibitions. Drawing, painting pictures for me is a cure for peace of mind, for self-expression. I love oil paints, I like bright shades, color combinations, all that magic that appears on canvas It’s like my hand is being driven by someone else and I’m curious what happens. I love to paint flowers, landscapes and combine different techniques. Art is a gift that has been given to me to share. My passion, is to seek out the beauty and the joy in all things and bring it to life for all to enjoy. I am passionate about my painting and spend every day in my studio, doing what I love.
